FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?
No. Unfortunately, we don't have a storefront anywhere at this time. We are an online-only business.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in San Diego, CA where all of our Doughs are made fresh to order. We offer pickup of orders in the North San Diego County area. If you would like to pickup your order rather than having it shipped, please shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a meeting time! Use promo code PICKUP during checkout to take the shipping cost off of your order.
WHEN WILL MY DOUGH SHIP, AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
ARE THERE NUTRITIONAL FACTS FOR YOUR DOUGH?
We currently don't provide nutritional facts for our Cookie Dough. Since we are very small company, the type of health permit we have does not required us to provide the nutritional information. Please feel free to email us for an estimate, or find our ingredient list here.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We currently only ship within the 50 United States.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
Since our Dough is perishable and cannot be shipped back to us and resold (and because we are a small business and can't afford it), we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances (unless we make a mistake). If we do make a mistake in your order, please let us know. We will either refund you or ship you a new order.
I DIDN'T LIKE THE TASTE. CAN I GET A REFUND?
Again, we unfortunately do not offer refunds under any circumstances. If you did not like your Dough, we are so sorry! As much as we wish everyone would be obsessed with our Doughs like we are, we know that won't always be the case.
IS YOUR DOUGH VEGAN?
Our Dough is not vegan as it is made with butter. However, we do have a vegan recipe in our cookbook, and most recipes can easily be made vegan!
IS YOUR DOUGH GLUTEN FREE?
Our Dough is not gluten free as it has flour in it. However, we do have a gluten free recipe in our cookbook, and most recipes can easily be made gluten free!
IS YOUR DOUGH SUGAR FREE?
Our Dough is not sugar free as it has (lots of) sugar in it. However, feel free to pick up our cookbook and try making those recipes sugar free!
IS YOUR DOUGH KOSHER?
Unfortunately, no. Our Dough is not kosher.
IS YOUR DOUGH SAFE FOR PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES?
Most likely not. Although only one of our base Dough flavors has nuts in it (Peanut Butter), all of our products are made in a kitchen that processes peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, gelatin, and coconut. We use the same kitchen equipment and utensils when making and scooping all of our products (they are washed in between, of course), and all of our ingredients are stored in the same cabinets, too. So, unfortunately, we would never be able to say with 100% certainty that there wasn't cross contamination with an allergen at some point.
HOW LONG WILL MY DOUGH LAST?
Your Dough will last up to a week at room temperature (which is what it is best eaten at), up to four weeks in the refrigerator, and up to three months in the freezer.
CAN I BAKE MY COOKIE DOUGH?
Since our dough contains no eggs to keep it safe to eat raw, you cannot bake our cookie dough. It will simply melt. But, who wants to eat baked cookies anyways?!
MY DOUGH ARRIVED WARM. IS IT OKAY TO EAT?
Yes! Our Dough doesn't need to be refrigerated (it can withstand heat up to 90-95 degrees) and is still okay to eat if it gets warm during shipping. Just pop it in the fridge to cool down and it should be good to go! If it is fully melted and completely separated, please email us and let us know.
MY DOUGH IS LABELED CAKE BATTER BUT I ORDERED BIRTHDAY CAKE?
No worries, you received the correct Dough! Since we have so many different Dough flavors and combos, all of our jars of Dough are labeled with the BASE Dough flavor ingredient label. So, whatever Dough is used to create the flavor you ordered, that's the flavor it will say on the bottom of your jar. For example, our Birthday Cake flavor is made with Cake Batter dough and Rainbow Sprinkles, thus it has a Cake Batter base dough flavor ingredient label.
WHY DO YOU CLOSE IN THE SUMMER?
Like mentioned above, our Dough can withstand some high temps, but not too high. It will melt if it gets too hot. For this reason, shipping in the summer during extreme heat is just not possible. Before you ask, yes, we have tried shipping in special containers and with ice packs. It doesn't work, and is far too expensive. It's just easier to close for the summer and resume shipping when the weather cools back down.
DO YOU OFFER MILITARY OR FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS?
Yes! We offer 20% off to all of the brave men and women who serve our great country. We truly appreciate all you do for us, and support you fully. Always.
