Our Story

     Unbaked: A Cookie Dough Bar is an online dessert company specializing in customizable safe-to-eat Cookie Dough. It got it's start in April of 2015. Founded by owner Olivia, the online dessert company has taken off in it's first few years of business.
     Olivia, originally from San Diego, has always loved baking, being taught by her mom and grandmother. Her passion of baking followed her through her life, but it took a side seat to her passion for writing. Olivia pursued a career in sports journalism, and climbed the ranks of the sports world quickly and successfully. Olivia has worked for notable companies such as Sports Illustrated, the San Diego Union Tribune, the NFL Network, and other online publications.
     Her sports career brought her to Los Angeles in the summer of 2014, when she took her dream job as a Producer/Editor for the NFL Network. It was a short lived adventure, however, as she quickly realized her dream job wasn't all it had cracked up to be. Tired of sitting behind a desk all day and having no freedom in her work, Olivia said goodbye to the sports world and began to pursue her love of baking first and foremost. A few months later, the 19-year-old launched Unbaked.
     At the time, Unbaked was one of the only safe-to-eat cookie dough companies in the world, and the first shop that allowed it's customers to customize their dough. They've been featured in a number of media outlets, such as The New York Times, LA Weekly, The Food Network, Women's World Magazine, and more.
     In the fall of 2017, Olivia was approached to write a cookbook all about safe-to-eat cookie dough by The Harvard Common Press. In August of 2018, The Edible Cookie Dough Cookbook hit stores, featuring 75 recipes for mouthwatering cookie dough.
